Hi, my name is Joel White and I’m an English Teacher.

I specialize in working with people in Germany who use English as a business language to help them to communicate confidently and effectively in English.

Business English Functional Skills: These lessons teach you essential functional skills to work professionally in English.
Proof Reading English documents and texts: from CV’s to Master's Theses, I can proofread documents and texts for you, get in contact for a quote.
Translation from German to English: I am able to offer translation of texts from German into English, get in contact for a quote.

So who am I?

Well, my name is Joel White. I’m 40, from just outside of London in the UK and currently living in Berlin, with my five year old daughter. Here are a couple of the main things that give an idea as to my competence as an English teacher;

CELTA qualified at the Berlin School of English in 2017.
Over 7 years experience teaching English online and on site from individual 1-1 lessons to larger group courses for large companies and organisations (for example, Siemens Energy, Vattenfall, RWE, The Hamburg Port Authority, Dekra and the Duale Hochschule Baden-Württemberg).
Self-taught German to a C1 level.
Professional background in Health and Social Care as well as working in Local Government in the UK.
Academic background in health and social care and law.

Online English lessons are charged at 38 Euros per hour (including VAT).

In-person English lessons are charged at 50 Euros per hour (including VAT and travel costs).
