Building Fluency: How to tell if you're being bullied at work?

Workplace bullying refers to repeated, deliberate mistreatment of an employee by one or more colleagues or superiors, creating a hostile, intimidating, or abusive work environment. It can manifest in various forms, including verbal abuse, intimidation, sabotage, exclusion, or spreading rumours.


Mobbing am Arbeitsplatz ist die wiederholte, absichtliche Misshandlung eines Beschäftigten durch einen oder mehrere Kollegen oder Vorgesetzte, die ein feindseliges, einschüchterndes oder missbräuchliches Arbeitsumfeld schafft. Mobbing kann sich in verschiedenen Formen äußern, z. B. durch Beschimpfungen, Einschüchterung, Sabotage, Ausgrenzung oder das Verbreiten von Gerüchten.


Workplace bullying can have serious consequences for the victim's mental and physical health, job performance, and overall well-being, as well as negatively impacting the organization's culture and productivity.


Mobbing am Arbeitsplatz kann schwerwiegende Folgen für die psychische und physische Gesundheit des Opfers, seine Arbeitsleistung und sein allgemeines Wohlbefinden haben und sich negativ auf die Unternehmenskultur und Produktivität auswirken.
